National Automotive Company (NATCO), the agent of Exeed, a subsidiary of Chery, announced the delivery of the first batch of cars of the Chinese brand manufactured in Egypt.
The announcement of the delivery of the first batch of Exeed cars came on the sidelines of a celebration held by the company at a Cairo hotel, during which those who reserved received their new cars.
Exeed cars are produced at the Egyptian-German Company (EGA) factory in the industrial zone in 6th of October, and the production capacity, according to official statements, is 3,000 units annually.
Yehia Abdel Quddous, General Manager of Exceed Egypt, said: “This day is a milestone in Exceed’s journey within the Egyptian market, and I have been waiting for it since we announced the manufacture of Exceed cars in Egypt about a month and a half ago.
Abdel Quddous added that launching the first batch of our luxury cars here in Egypt confirms our commitment to enhancing the concept of luxury, and setting new standards of quality and excellence, expressing his aspiration to achieve more successes in the future.
He stressed the company’s commitment to providing products and services that live up to our customers’ expectations and give them a unique experience, so we provide our cars with a 7-year warranty with no maximum kilometer limit.
Exceed RX cars come equipped with a powerful 2.0 TGDI engine that delivers up to 261hp at 5500 rpm, and a torque of up to 400 Nm between 1750 and 4000 rpm.
The car is available with a 7 DCT wet transmission for front-wheel drive, in addition to a four-wheel drive option with 7 driving modes .
The Exceed RX also comes equipped with comfort and entertainment technologies, such as a dual 12.3-inch LCD screen, a premium Sony audio system with 14 speakers, and a dual-zone automatic air conditioning system with fine dust air purification.
